Tah-Dah!!

Okay so FINALLY I'm posting some pictures. (By the way this is Alli) So after many requests *ahem* (katie) I am finally putting pictures up of me and my hubby-to-be. We are busy planning a wedding (which seems to be happening to a lot of people lately :D ha ha) and are very excited with the plans that are being made. We hope to see you all (or as many that can...) there! If not at our wedding, then we look forward to seeing you when we come to Utah next weekend for Amy's wedding. By the way, congratulations Amy! We're excited to meet Chase. Okay, well we love you and can't wait to see you!

Briggs-isms

Ok, here is the Briggs ism for the week. We were on our way somewhere and I noticed that he had some carnation instant breakfast as a mustache. So I licked my thumb and started wiping off his mouth. He said "ewwwww, you are wiping your lick on me!" Quite funny.

With our latest move to Salt Lake, Briggs has spent a few nights in hotels and just basically living out of a suit case. Today when we picked up Tyler and Breann from a school assignment, Briggs asked Breann, "Breann do you want to go to my hotel?" Breann said, "Briggs, you live in a house." He said "no my hotel is a long ways away." Every time he has traveled a long ways, it has involved a hotel. It would be nice if we owned it but no, we just spent a lot of time there...apparently.

I think this section could also be named, Briggs antics. Here is his latest. This evening after dinner, Elwin and I were sitting in the dining room talking. Tyler and Marie were working on dishes. Briggs went off by himself and became very quiet. From past experience, I do not let that happen for very long. It usually means there is a mess to clean up. This time, I sent Marie to go see what he was doing, she came back laughing her guts out. Briggs had gone into the family room and completely stripped down...naked. Then he turned on the fireplace, I can only assume because he was a little chilled. Then he got one of our Christmas books and sat on the couch looking at it. Not really the visual you expect when you think of reading a Christmas story by a fire. Now that he is potty trained it is easier for him to strip down. Oh well, it is a small price to pay. Diapers or streaker. I will take the streaker.
Ok, this one may not count as an offical Briggs-ism but I still think it was cute. The other evening, we were gathering for family prayer. Alli's boyfriend Tyler was with us and Briggs insisted on saying the prayer...by himself. So he starts it out by asking that each individual will be safe and good and have fun. There was a slight pause when he got to Alli's boyfriend and so he just said " and please bless...Tyler boyfriend to be safe and good and have fun". So I guess that is his official title. Tyler boyfriend.

This morning Briggs licked Alli's leg and said "Hmm, tastes like chicken!" We always thought Alli had chicken legs, now we have proof!
